Pet Passports
Here at Fox Veterinary Clinic we can help you get your pet ready for their travels. Pet passports are used for pets traveling within the EU member countries. We will fill the passport out and have it all ready to go before you set off on your journey.
What to expect during your visit to Fox Vets:
- A consultation with a vet
- Placing or reading of your pets microchip or a re-registration form. Proof of I.D. and address is required for both microchipping or re-registering a microchip
- Rabies Vaccine - 21 days before travel (can vary) - From 12 weeks old and over
- EU Pet Passport.
Before you travel your pet may also need:
- Pre Travel Check
- Parasite Treatment
If you would like to insert a photograph of your pet into the passport we ask you to supply us with one during your visit.
Please note if you are travelling to a country outside the EU please inform us as each country has different requirements. We ask that you contact the embassy of that country to find out what requirements are needed. We also recommend you check with the airline/carrier company you will be using as they may also have specific requirements.
If you have any questions about travel do not hesitate to contact us and one of our experienced staff members will answer your question.
