Laser Therapy

A quick medication-free solution to your pet’s pain

What is laser (photobiomodulation) therapy:

Laser therapy is defined as a form of light therapy. It is a non thermal, non harmful process which works at a cellular level to trigger biological reactions. This process results in beneficial therapeutic outcomes.

What are the benefits:

Anti-inflammatory effect
Analgesic effect
Accelerated tissue repair and cell growth
Reduced scar tissue formation
Improved nerve function
Regulation of the immune system

How long does the treatment take:

Each session ranges from 10-30 minutes depending on the amount of areas which require treatment.

How many treatments are required:

Initial treatment may be required 2-3 times weekly depending on the condition. The frequency can then be reduced with improvement. As laser therapy has a cumulative effect, most conditions require at least 4 treatments.
